چکیده
Aim: Many recent studies are increasingly shedding light on the nature of relationship between cancer and inflammation. Neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet/lymphocyte (PLR) platelet/neutrophil (PNR), Mean Platelet Volume (MPV) proinflammatory markers, their prognostic importance has been investigated in many solid cancers. In this study, we discussed association these derivative inflammatory obtained from a cheap simple peripheral blood test, with clinicopathologic variables patients undergoing gastrectomy for gastric cancer.
Material Method: The retrospective database total 148 who were operated Diyarbakır Gazi Yaşargil Training Research Hospital Department Surgery was analyzed. All results pathology reports reviewed retrospectively. Demographic characteristics pathological features tumor extracted database. NLR, PLR, PNR MPV values calculated cell counts. Data analyzed using SPSS version 24.0.
Results: statistically significant according to N T stage tumor, respectively (p=0.035, p=0.011). MPV, difference observed T1 T2 tumors (p=0.029). PLR NLR did not show size (p>.05).
Conclusion: significantly associated stage. However, clinical implications added value practice require further research.

Low Serum 25‑hydroxyvitamin D levels: Predictive Value of Hematological and Inflammatory Markers in Patients with Urinary Tract Infection
Background: Low vitamin D has been linked to enhance inflammatory markers in various pathological conditions. We aimed to evaluate the urinary tract infection (UTI)-associated hematological and inflammatory markers mediated by low serum levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D]. Methods: Vitamin D level, hematological indices (Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio [NLR], Monocyte-to-lymphocyte ratio [M...

The aim of this study was to evaluate the individual diagnostic utility of tumour and inflammatory markers in patients with different pulmonary diseases. The usefulness of neuron-specific enolase (NSE), carcino-embryonic antigen (CEA), serum pro-gastrin releasing peptide (ProGRP) and CYFRA 21-1, as tumour markers, and C-reactive protein (CRP) and tumour necrosis factor-alpha (TNFalpha) as infla...
متن کاملCancer Stem Cell Markers CD44, CD133 in Primary Gastric Adenocarcinoma
Cancer stem cells (CSCs) are unique subpopulations that have the capacity to drive malignant progression with renewal abilities. Recently the role of some of CSCs in gastric adenocarcinoma has been studied. This study was performed in order to evaluate CD44 and CD133 expressions by immunohistochemistry in 95 primary gastric adenocarcinoma and their relation to clinical and pathological paramete...

The aim of the study was to assess the contribution of platelets and inflammatory markers in gastric cancer. We studied 50 patients. Taking into consideration the advancement of gastric cancer, patients were divided into 3 groups. Group (E)--13 patients with early gastric cancer, group (A)--18 patients with regionally advanced cancer, and group (M)--19 patients with metastatic cancer. The deter...
